Designing Integrated Media Environments
Hello. My name is Phil Sinatra. I am a developer, instructor and author. I love music and sports. Have a look at all of the cool things I've built as part of my Designing Integrated Media Environments class at UF!
Week 2
Image Editing
The image editing assignment focuses on working with bitmap and vector images. I recreated my own version of cover for my favorite novel, Lonesome Dove. I also created two new vector logos - one for a fitness company, and the other for an art company.
Week 3
Web Design
The first web design project focused on learning some fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I created a custom, multiple choice assessment quiz based on the concepts presented in a template. I chose to build this interface using React.
Week 4
Drag-n-Drop
This project tested my skills for analyzing and updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript originally written by Dr. Antonenko for our Foundations of Educational Technology course.
Week 5
Video Production
This educational video about polar bears features basic examples of transitions, effects, narration and captions. It was produced using an array of applications from the Adobe Creative Suite.
Week 6
Digital Animation
This digital animation illustrating how a basic pulley system works includes basic examples of transitions, effects, narration and labels. It was produced using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator.
Week 8
Screencasting
This screencast video teaches the basics of getting setup with Figma Variants, a new way to group and organize variations of the same component. It was produced using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier and of course Figma.
